Las Lomas wins to improve to 8-0 and a #9 NCS Ranking

The Knights defense was once again stifling, lead by Dominic Gravino's eight tackles, allowing only one fourth quarter touchdown. Up next for Las Lomas is the perennial powerhouse Campolindo Cougars Friday night October 25 at Las Lomas High School.

Knights win a thriller to go 5-0

It took every bit of the game’s 48-minutes, but the Las Lomas Knights defeated the Vanden Vikings 21-20 Friday night in Fairfield. The winning connection came between Everett Johnson and Zach Patterson, with Johnson hitting Patterson in stride on a 45-yard strike to tie the score 20-20 with 1.7-seconds remaining in the game.  Hayden Grant then connected on his third extra-point of the game, despite a strong wind in his face, to give Las Lomas the victory.  The Knights and Vikings battled hard, with both teams playing stingy defense and having to overcome miscues and ill-timed penalties. Down 14-0, the Knights first touchdown came in the second quarter when Isaiah Newell scored from 18-yards out on a terrific run. Soon after, Sammy Von Felden intercepted a Viking’s pass attempt and returned it for a touchdown to tie the score at halftime. The third quarter ended 14-14 and then in the fourth quarter Vanden took over on downs at the Las Lomas 25-yard line and promptly went ahead on a touchdown run, a lead that lasted until the final seconds of the game.
